We decided to do a “generation 2” version of the guitar we were modeling. We changed what we didn’t care for on the original ss guitar. Skipped the custom fret inlays, huge front horn scoop and custom made knobs to bring a more familiar and more comfortable feeling and price point.
Instead of a huge front cut out to allow for higher fret access we did a smaller and more visually appealing front cut out and contoured the back of the neck heel which gives you more access than the original. We also went to the older “signature model” knobs and traditional fret dots to give a more traditional look. We also decided to do a light aging on it so it looks and feels beautifully worn in but never abused.
Electronics are the same specs and wiring as the original besides an alternate resistor value that we found sounded and felt better fit the instrument.
