The driftwood series is the pinnacle of beautiful simplicity and function. Partially inspired by Andy Aledort’s ’61, the original driftwood has ZERO lacquer on the body for maximum resonance. When you play it you can literally feel the guitar vibrate against your body in a way you’ve never experienced before! Amazing woody and organic sound all from zero lacquer and zero sealer on the body. We use the same raised grain technique we use on our elite model Black1’s which naturally par seals and protects the wood all while retaining the chance to have the wood naturally absorb all of your sweat and mojo! The driftwood can be ordered with gold or nickel hardware and any pickups, pickguard and tuners you want. Pictured is the driftwood with a vintage material 64 mint pickguard, nickel hardware and vintage tuners. Truly the best choice for recording and a total monster on stage!
